22 july 2005 - London, UK - Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly: Preserved RTW75 makes an appearance at a Routemaster conversion day, this time for Route 14. There weren`t too many RM routes left by this time and they would soon be all gone, apart from the two short `tourist` routes left running in Central London (now reduced to just one (Route 15).

9 december 2005 - London, UK – Westminster Bridge. The evening’s celebrations were drawing to a close when this RTW suddenly appeared. RTWs were the first 8-feet wide double-deckers in London and were only ever seen on a few routes.

9 december 2005 - London, UK - Vauxhall. A very nostalgic scene inside the lower deck of the RTW. Because the percentage of anoraks is so high, these must mostly be bus enthusiasts – thousands turned out for this event, which was only advertised by word of mouth – amazing! Most of them have probably been here all day. A photo like this reminds me of my childhood, when these buses took me to school (but on the top deck, naturally - downstairs was strictly for the oldies). In front, the new buses have already taken over.
