16 march 2010 - Almada (PT) - Corroios, Avenida 25 da Abril. The Metro do Sul is a new light rail system that forms a 'Y' shaped network through the residential cities opposite Lisboa, on the far side of the Tagus river. Twenty-four Combino Plus trams provide the service. Here, car #CO13 runs towards the depot on track that is not currently used for passengers, but which will form part of a planned extension.

16 march 2010 - Almada (PT) - Cacilhas. The Metro Transporte do Sol has full computer control of route setting and drivers have radio contact with the central control room at all times. Er.... what's up, Doc? All that expensive technology seems to have failed completely!
