As these are made in Lithuania, if the consortium chooses to market these elsewhere in Eastern Europe, Solaris may have a small problem...
At the moment there are plans to assemble them for our own need and maybe later - for everybody else who would want to. I doubt that these can do serious impact on Solaris sales - Solaris is more experienced and it's production quality is much higher than any other "eastern" manufacturers.
Sure, but these things are around €70k cheaper per vehicle than even a rather basic Solaris trolley... Which will make a difference for trolleybus networks in places like Romania or Bulgaria...
I have only doubts about a total number of trolleybuses that Vilnius workshop is able to produce in one year.
Sure, but who says they can't create a small factory like Modertrans in Poznan...
You are right. I think there is still demand for cheap trolleybuses in this part of Europe.
